Don't know why I started singing "THERE'S A MOON OUT TONIGHT" by the Capris a few minutes ago? Funny how you never forget the words to those classics. Did you ever listen to a CARDI B song? My God, that stuff stinks.

Did any of you need to go to a car dealer to get a spare key cut and programmed? To my way of thinking the dealer could do that in a half an hour. But, I don't want to go over there and be made to wait like 3 hours. I'm sure someone will post they can do it themselves. I can not.

netsfan3 Very excited. When the ignition switch was changed on the 2010 Cobalt about 3 years ago under warranty, they gave me 2 new programmed keys. The dealer told me my old key would only open the door. My son ordered a package of 2 more programable keys online. Just for kicks I took the old key outside to see if it opened the door. It bot only opened the door it also started the car. My son was able to cancel the online keys as they had not shipped yet. CAN'T BELIEVE ANYONE THESE DAYS.

Another TVG moneyback special where my horse gets nailed at the wire by a longshot. Did get a refund. I even get beat on a BAFFERT 2/5 SHOT. Well at least my tax refund came today. Wife went to another play reading tonight. I went on Thursday. They talked so softly, I only caught a word here or there.

My wife keeps sitting by the door every day waiting for the mailman to bring our big fat tax refund. She is cursing out Donald Trump for his idiotic government shut down causing the delay. Any of you get your refund already?

netsfan3 I worked at Prudential in early 1970. Yes, we had programs with punch cards back then. In 1984, I worked for a company that dumped a pc on my desk. Read the manual, my boss said. But, you had to write your own software back then. Now, almost anyone can learn in short order what data to put in pre packaged software. I like the internet for the ease of locating information. I have no need to order a pizza online. Or, to keep up with which movie stars are going out with each other. I want AI to find the cures for devastating diseases.

Wow. 5 in the top ten now have zero lives. Up to 27th place in total wins. I guess I should have played some of those Gingras favorites while he was hot. Too far behind in the challenge at 147.

netsfan3 I'm 3 out. But, it is difficult playing catch up in the wins category. You need a night where Gingras not only doesn't win any. You need him to finish off the board as well. I played 3-1-1 tonight.

ROLLO from Sanford & Son just died. Loved that show. I still call people who I argue with "Fish eyed fools." Saw Red Foxx in Vegas with my wife around 1982. Was seriously high that night. I laughed my ass off that night. Moms Mably was the lead in comedienne. HILARIOUS.

meanmistermustard Saw Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry in Vegas late 80's Great show. Jerry enduring some serious health problems presently. Little Richard and Jerry Lee maybe the last remaining performing icons of rocknroll

60/1 BOMB WINS THE SOUTHWEST AT OAKLAWN. The 1 and the 5 bumped each other while trying to make the lead, then went on a suicide mission. No favorites in the triple. It should be HUGE. Like 2 grand for a dollar.

Been fighting with a bunch of retired teachers on FACEBOOK. They claim that $63,000 a year is woefully low pay in NJ. That is the average teacher pay in NJ. Can't live on that they claim. These people really have no idea of how great they have it.

meanmistermustard Agree. woefully low pay for Jersey, N.Y., Cal., Illinois, et al,hmmm.

I just won the 7th at Gulfstream on Sunday with a Chad Brown maiden. I wonder why no one ever wonders if he has found the magic potion. His horses seem to never lose. 6/5 is actually a high price on any of his horses. Plus it was money back if he finished second.

netsfan3 THERE IS AN ELVIS PRESLEY SPECIAL ON THIS SUNDAY NIGHT. Maybe channel 4? Reminds me of a day about 5-10 years ago when I started to sing ARE YOU LONESOME TONIGHT to a high school class. Sometimes, I just get "in the zone". I might have told the story here of how my group
of friends went to NYC when the Beatles came to NYC. Me and 1 guy split off and went to a nightclub. Some of the others got into the hotel and created havoc. I found out the next day on the news. They are mostly dead now. They were lucky they weren't arrested. You could drink in NY at 18 back then.

    ENTRIES JUST POPPED UP.

netsfan3 2-8-5 FOR me. Betting has been strange at the BIG M for quite some time. Post time favorites are winning at a nice clip. But, they are not reflective of the morning line. It seems that in the winter being on top is not the place to be early. That is a general observation.

Wilbur Ross might get fired as Commerce Secretary for saying "those federal workers who are having economic problems should go to the bank and take out loans." You know that stupid comment is gonna be all over the news tonight.

netsfan3 BILLYP: You are not the only one who was downsized at 55, and had to take a job or 2 for peanuts. Yes, I had a good buddy who committed suicide because he had PTSD and was subjected to Agent Orange. He had to take a job painting although he was a college graduate. Wilbur Ross is in his 80's. He made millions by buying up distressed properties caused by economic downturns. It is simply my opinion that making innocent people suffer for no good reason is terribly wrong. Whether you or I faced tough sledding is no justification for inflicting pain on others. Sometimes, things politician do are not black or white they are grey in nature. In this instance almost 75 % of Americans think this shutdown was wrong. Yes, if I were promised back pay I could keep showing up for over a year at this stage in life. The average guy can not. This shutdown was a foolish political decision. This is not the way democracy works. I talk to everybody, whether they agree with me or not.

Wouldn't it be great to see the Chargers upset the Patriots today. I for one don't like seeing the same teams in the playoffs every darn year. Yes, I was actually a New Jersey Nets fan since the A.B.A. days. Loved the red, white and blue basketballs. If Kevin Durant came to Brooklyn, the Nets could win the Eastern Division.

netsfan3 When the playoffs get down to 8 teams, you play the home teams. They almost always win, and cover the spread at the same time. I don't really have a favorite N.F.L. team. And don't watch the 1/2 time show at the Superbowl. It always sounds like a bunch of noise, and I don't know any of the songs they are singing.

Just wasted hours trying to decipher what forms will be required to do the new 1040 form for 2018. Estimated tax payments now go on SCHEDULE 5. ALL FORMS MUST BE DOWNLOADED AT PRESENT. IRS NOT ANSWERING PHONE, RIGHT NOW. Everybody has to file 1040 now. 1040A AND 1040ES ARE DISCONTINUED. 1040 is a simplified form. Confusing to non accountants.

netsfan3 BILLYP: I always pay way more in estimated taxes than required. I get ALMOST EVERYTHING returned as a refund. I give it to my wife and children. They enjoy spending money much more than I do. Money is wonderful to have, so no one can shit all over you in life. I gave them money to go have lunch at a Polish restaurant. They spent $50. I had a pepperoni sandwich, and a bowl of cereal. Different strokes, for different folks.

JUST GOT MY $2.40 for the night. Moved up 4 spots. Never done this bad for a full meet. Now, I have a bomb in the 10th race. Will he finish 4th or last, that is the question. 496th place, and going nowhere fast.

netsfan3 The idea that everyone is either corrupt or incompetent gives solace to those who are truly dismal. In EVERY facet of life (including politics), there is the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Marohn Jr. won 2 at Yonkers tonight, out of 3 drives. I make $3.60 here and move up 9 spots. I can't get a winner at the BIG M this meet. They all die in the stretch.

netsfan3 I made no bets on any track on Friday. One winning bet at Scioto Downs on Saturday. Was so busy at Monmouth on Sunday that none of the tellers near me could sneak in a bet for themselves. Sunday, I got home from M.P. at 8:30. Ate and drank some water and soda, and was sawing wood by 9:30. I have YONKERS free Monday programs bookmarked. Maybe, play a race there tonight. Or, play a .20 cent crazy triple at Grand River tonight (free program at their website). Have to take the wife for a free pap test in a few hours. Thankfully, that has no copay any longer. Nor, does the mammogram test. Just about any doctor in NJ makes over 200 grand a year. I HOPE I LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. Doctors getting over $150 for a routine office visit is a damn rip off.
